Storm Preparation

1. Secure all personal items that are outside of your individual condo/coop or home. Place them inside if possible.
   Prepare Ahead of time. DON’T WAIT UNTIL IT’S TOO LATE TO ACT.
2. Roll down all hurricane shutters. .
3. Make sure ALL water is turned off inside your condo. This includes washing machines, all sinks, all toilets, ice machines and dish washers. 4.
4. Unplug all electronic devises including electric strips. 5.
5. Place as many items up off the floor as possible (especially on the ground floor). 6.
6. Remove ALL food items that could spoil. 7.
7. Relocate all vehicles to higher dryer ground. 8.
8. If you plan to stay through a minor storm, make sure you have room with no windows that you can use in case the storm is worse than expected. 9.
9. have back-up batteries and flashlights ready.
